Residents of Michigan Way have been busy maintaining the long bank at the rear of their garden which faces onto Pennsylvania Road.
Peter Holland, City Councillor, said: ''It is encouraging when residents take civic pride in the areas where they live. The residents have worked tirelessly and are fantastic role models in their immediate community. I sincerely hope that their endeavours will not go unnoticed and that more residents will enter into the spirit of looking after stretches of bank and verge immediately outside their homes!''.
